Award winning journalist, Robin Woods is based in Montclair, New Jersey, and contributes to various publications, including Montclair Local News. For eight years she wrote a recurring signature column under her brand “Robin’s Nest” for the newspaper, as well as editorials and news pieces for The Montclair Times.

Well-known in town, Woods explores and shares information about businesses and residents with a human interest twist. Her personal, engaging,sometimes  opinionated and frequently humorous pieces cover a range of local life and hyper-local topics. 

Robin received the Shirley Chisholm Award for Journalism in 2015.
